Windsor Inn is a rare find in DC where all hotels are so expensive. This one is very affordable and also very nice. You get all the basic things - comfortable bed, clean and well-functioning bathroom, free wi-fi, helpful staff, tea/coffee/water available 24/7. There was no fridge/microwave and iron in the room BUT you just need is to ask at the front desk and you'll have a place to store your food and get an iron/board as well. Location is great too, easy to get to all the main DC attractions.

All the necessary conveniences. For the money, $100 dollars per nite including fees and taxes, I was completely satisfied. Great neighborhood. Only 2 stops by Metro Train to Convention Center. Approx $6.00 Uber ride to Convention Center. Only 17 blocks away. Trader Joes only 4 blocks away. Convenient grocery store at corner open til midnite; only 300 feet away. Clerk on duty at window 24/7. WiFi, Dining area, microwave, coffee, water, refrigerator. Chinaware, dinnerware available. Great Deal

We really enjoyed our stay at Windsor Inn Hotel! The Staff was really nice with great recommendations to the closest restaurants. The room was old fashioned, but clean and well kept! Our reservation said we booked a shared bathroom, so we were happily surprised by our own (clean) ensuite bathroom! A toilet lid would be nice, since the towel rack is located right above it... It's a good 30 minutes walk to the White House. We really enjoyed our stay here!

This was perfect for what my boyfriend and I were looking for after seeing a show at the 9:30 club. It was a little under a mile walk to and from and a ton of great bars/restaurants along the way. The front desk guy was humble and honest. No frills. Just a dated but classic hotel great for crashing after a night out.

Hotel is in 2 old townhouses, so it's intteresting. Not terribly well maintained. . Room had a slight mildew odor. My room had it's own bathroom, some don't . Good location and really nice staff who patiently looked into a couple of billing problems for me. Reasonalbe price for centrally located lodgings in DC. Friendly lobby cat!

    Very Good

This hotel is in a good location within walking distance of the metro and was perfect for my purposes, having someplace to rest my head for a one-night stay in D.C. I don't have a problem climbing stairs, so the fact that the hotel has no elevator was not an issue for me. I prefer staying in quirky local places rather than bland chain hotels when possible, so this fit the bill. The room and lobby were clean. The old prints on the hall walls were neat. The price, $102 inc. taxes, was great.

I was unclear about the breakdown of the cost of the room and the staff refused to explain it to me, asked if it was my first time staying there, sent me to a room in horrible condition, and once I left I was unable to find my umbrella which was taken from a bag I left at the front desk.

One of the worst places I have ever stayed. Didn’t stay an hour. Left and went to Marriott. Room was disgusting. Wallpaper peeling off walls fridge on the floor. Filthy windows. Old, outdated fixtures. Broken furniture. Biggest waste of money. Place should be condemned. I don’t understand the good reviews. Was it just our room so disgusting?
