Immaculately clean, stunning setting right on a beautiful stretch of the river. Extremely friendly family and very welcoming hostel. Highly recommended. Will need your own transport or a tuk tuk as is about 15k outside of Pakse, but the beautiful location makes it worth it.

Great! Views are brilliant. Dorms are really well done. The family running the place are very very kind and understanding. The location is good. You will need a tuk tuk from Pakse to get to here (at time of writing this can be bargained for 250000 kip), but it is all totally worth it. Would love to stay again

Wopakok has to be one of the best places I've stayed at throughout my travels. The views are stunning, the food is incredible, and the people are lovely and helpful. Wopakok is a place that I would recommend to everyone passing through Pakse. I've never felt so relaxed in a place before. I could honestly spend weeks and weeks there. Thank you Sean, Noy, and the rest of the team for such an amazing time at Wopakok. I'll definitely be back if I'm in Laos again! Mike :)

Such a beautiful hostel, definitely would recommend staying here if you want to see the proper Laos. If you stay here please call the owners when you arrive in pakse they'll pick you up for free! Rather than tuk tuk which might charge you a lot of money.

The best place to stay in Pakse/Champasak area! No doubt about it. Amazing view of the Mekong and surrounding mountains, beautiful newly built rooms, incredible menu, and very friendly staff! What more can you ask for? I won't be surprised if Wopakok Hotel will be featured in travel books, magazines and blogs very soon.

It is a fair distance from town so be prepared to book a tuktuk or call ahead to organise a pickup. Located in a beautiful area with amazing views across the river. Hire a bike to explore the local sites. Food was fantastic and there is plenty of communal space to chill out. Rooms very clean and beds comfortable.

The owner and his wife are very kind and helpful. We had a very clean AC’d room with a shared bathroom which was also very clean, no ants, no insects. Dinner and breakfast were nothing special but good! The hotel is located out of the city but easy to reach with a motorbike. The nature around the hotel is amazing and quiet. We had a nice stay and we would definitely stay here again!

A drive into Pakse, but really picturesque. I was the only person staying there at the time, so there was not much of an atmosphere - better suited for families and groups than for solo travelers. Was made quite uncomfortable by the owner who had a bit too much to drink...

This place is indeed overpriced according to the local market situation and not much value of it.and worse things is they don’t have lockers in the dormitory, and i was the only person stay in the the dorm .but still my money got stolen here ,obviously no doubt it was one of them .when I told these fact to Sean (who is the owner here),he was very strangely over-reacting about it! Anyway, everything here is more expensive and staying here is no security cuz you don’t know who is going to steal!!!!
