General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.

  • In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
  • Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
  • Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
  • It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
  • Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card ???? Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

The following group types are not accepted by this hostel: Holiday with Friends, Junior / Primary School, High / Secondary School, College / University, Business Trip, Stag/Hen/Bachelor Party, Sports Group, Cultural Group If you have misrepresented the type of group you are booking for, your booking may be cancelled by the hostel."

Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

Property Description

This welcoming old Victorian house is run by a female-led partnership between a mother and her daughter. Some of the traditional features has been restored and some retro-funky decor has been kept whilst adding touch of modernity throughout. A couple of examples are our restored original 1800's stained glass window and staircase features. In the Guest rooms, we have kept the in-room wet areas (sinks) and in the shared bathroom and toilet we've kept all the groovy 1960's-style tiling. All of our Guest rooms and Private Ensuite rooms have a modern colour scheme and some warm carpets too!

If you're looking for a modern apart-hotel style of stay, then rest assured, we also have apart-hotel rooms available on our top floor with Velux windows (skylight) providing views of the City Centre or of the Platt Fields park in front of us.
All rooms have flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, comfortable beds and come with free Wi-Fi and on-site guest parking.

Cot hire, Breakfasts and other Hotel Extras are available too.

Theres plenty to do in Manchester, but if youre thinking of staying in on a rainy day, we also have a board-games hamper and some books to keep you entertained during your stay.

The following section outlines the Key Terms and Conditions of Booking, as set out in our Hotel Policy.

Terms and Conditions:

Payment
All reservations must be paid in advance (within 48 hours of booking).
We accept Bank Transfers (BACs, IBAN, Swift) or Credit/Debit card payments.
Checking-in
Check-in hours are every day between 3pm- 10pm (15:00 - 22:00 hours).
Early/Late check-ins must be arranged in advance but is dependent on availability and will incur a fee.
You must present an Official International Identification Document (ID) and a Credit/Debit card for the Pre-authorisation Guarantee upon arrival, in order for us to check you in.
Pre-Authorisation Guarantee/Deposit
Depending on the room you are booking, the amount to be pre-authorised at check-in will be between 40-90.
The amount will be held on your Credit/Debit card for 10 working days before automatic release.
This is in case you incur any extra costs during your stay.
If you are unable to provide a Pre-Authorisation Guarantee, then you will be asked to make a Deposit payment (by PayPal or bank transfer). You will need to provide details for the Deposit Return (which normally takes around 3-5 working days).
Check-out Time
Before 11am. Late check-out must be arranged in advance but is dependent on availability and will incur a fee.
Breakfasts
Your booking does not include breakfast.
We have a few different breakfast options available to order upon your arrival. These can only be booked directly with the hotel.
Reception Opening Hours
Every day between 10am and 10pm (10:00 -22:00 hours). If you have any questions you can get in touch with the hotel by phone during these hours, otherwise you can drop us an email.
Cancellation Policy & No-Shows
Standard Rate Plan:
Free cancellation until 14 days before arrival.
Prepayment to the hotel is required once the free cancellation period ends.
The hotel requests that this payment is made via Bank Transfer, and will email the guest with the instructions and confirmation of payment once paid.
Non-refundable Rate Plan:
Prepayment to the hotel is required within 48 hours of reservation.
The hotel requests that this payment is made via Bank Transfer, and will email the guest with the instructions and confirmation of payment once paid.
No Shows:
Where a Guest does not cancel, nor shows up to check-in during the check-in hours. The payment is due in full and is non-refundable. View House Rules

    Location is a bit away from Manchester Centre but busses run all night. Mia is lovely. She allowed us to drop the bags in the room before check-in which was great. Was made aware of how we had to behave which was slightly uncomfortable as we had already planned to treat the place with respect. However, could tell it was just because Mia cared a lot for the hotel. Very clean. The only toilet is placed in quite an uncomfortable spot, right on the main staircase. Great value for money.

    The business was shut but didnt tell me so i rocked up with my bags ready to check in but there was no one there, I am still waiting for my deposit back `:(
