    Fabulous

Basic but good value accommodation. En-suite facilities could be better. Very disappointing that the 'buffet' help yourself breakfast was actually rationed by the chef which made it very poor value. I personally don't like baked beans, hash browns or cooked tomatoes but would have enjoyed an extra slice of bacon or even a sausage instead, this request was refused. NB - the age profiles do not have an option that matches our group, I have chose the age range therefore that matched the majority.

    Very Good

Very clean. Beds were decent. 3 of the 4 staff members we talked to weren’t knowledgeable about the area and legitimately told us to “Google it,” when we asked about Prior Park. The location is about a 20 minute walk to city center but on your way back, you’ll be going uphill and it’s very steep. Breakfast is a decent value at £6.75 but you could get something in town for the same amount.

    Good

Had a super odd checkin experience where we had to ring a bell outside the somewhat sketchy building at night, and then it took quite awhile for them to answer. It’s a little out of the way and had no atmosphere at all, very basic. The rooms themselves were fine and showers simple. Decor was pretty awful too, but it worked as a bed for the night.

Heater was not working. We have complained to the staff but no one has turned up to fix the issue. Overall the experience was not so good.
