Reaching this spectacular 1885 stately Victorian mansion is surprisingly easy, with buses every 30 minutes to Keighley from from gate 16 at the big bus station in Leeds, then on to one of the "B" buses to Haworth every few minutes at gate E at the also big Keighley station. Downton Abbey is real - from the scrunch of the gravel driveway to the impeccable (!) full English breakfasts in a dining facility fit for an army of English modern people. Every inch of the Yorkshire countryside is a marvel.

First time I stayed there, lovely property, great facilities. We stayed in room 1 and it was perfect for three of us.

Impressive place to stay - we had a big room holding 3 bunk beds with a sink - and loads of space around it. We self catered which worked because the weather was fine and we could eat outside. If the weather had been poor the very small self catering kitchen would have struggled to cope - equipment included 2 cookers witrh grill pans, microwave and 2 small fridges. The water pressure was low so some showers were a bit dribbly. Overall we enjoyed our stay and recommend it.

Stayed here whilst visiting family in Haworth. Would definitely do so again. Great breakfast, comfortable beds, nice and quiet at night. Staff were professional but really friendly. Great value for money.

Only stayed one night when passing through so hard to comment much. Beautiful building, tucked away on a residential street and felt very safe. Staff were polite and very helpful. Room was just what I expected, comfy bunk with a reading light, and sink in the room. Only downside was the shower did little more than dribble on me the next morning, and the self catering kitchen, although well stocked, was cramped and humid. However, overall it was fantastic value for money and fine for one night.

Great place, lovely staff, good breakfast. Bed was uncomfortable though: middle sag and too short.

The hostel itself is nice but I had a bad experience because I was not told on checking in that the day of check out there would be no luggage storage available due to the entire hostel closing down at noon. Staff were completely unhelpful and unapologetic. It totally altered my plans for the day as I had to carry my heavy backpack with me and the town centre is a 25 minute walk away from the hostel. Also the only people staying here seemed to be older ladies and families so not good for solo
