Stayed several nights at the hostel more than 20 years ago and,to go back so many years later felt great, being at home like, very relaxed and well looked after by the hostel staff, very quiet at night so I had a good night rest.I would go back any time and, sure,I will in days to come. There is nothing I can complaint about. Thanks so much.

Location is what it is. The busses are going regularly so it's not to bad. The staff are nice and the hostel is pretty clean. Two wallplugs per dorm is a little annoying. The hostel itself is very big which makes it lack atmosphere.

This hostel might not win with its location but the staff made up for it! Very friendly and helpful with every issue that appeared. If you are searching for a cheap hostel in a quiet area then the YHA in Genova is your place to go to. If you are searching for a place to meet many people and party hard, this hostel won't fulfill your demands as the last bus from town departures at ~1am and the doors close at 2am. But for day trips there is a frequent bus connection into the city.

The Hostel doesn’t have an age restriction, so I stayed in a dorm with a couple of old men. I would consider myself quite outgoing, still the atmosphere wasn’t really enjoyable. The Location is acceptable. It is quite far from the city center and up a hill, but you can take a bus. The breakfast isn’t good. You can choose between croissants and cake, and for drinks either coffee or tea. However their pricing model for breakfast ist somewhat weird. All in all the Hostel is acceptable for the price

This hostel was just a bit dodgy. The staff were nice and helpful enough but the location and rooms were just poor. My bed was structurally unsafe, with a ladder to the top bunk that could fall off at any moment as it was unattached by anything other than a couple of hooks, and nothing to stop one from rolling out of bed at night.

Very far away from the city. But that wasn’t entirely a bad thing. I walked from the city to the hostel and saw some cool stuff and it was nice to explore. But at night I only had one option for food if I didn’t want to sit on a bus for 30 min to get to the city center.

Really great staff and fairly tidy rooms, nothing to complain about there. But no kitchen to have access to and no washing facilities was a bit of a bummer. Clothes can be washed down the hill but it’s a long walk and you have to leave them for hours
