We loved staying here in our little hut opposite the pond. The surroundings are so peaceful and beautiful, we didn’t want to leave. Bathrooms are outside in nature which is definitely an experience! You feel completely in the middle of nature, but still only a short walk to town centre. Host was lovely. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing time in nature.

Absolutely amazing. So peaceful, and you can get your own bungalow for very cheap. Close to town but not too close, so you can walk there but you are far away from the noise. Mink, the host, is very funny and offers some great suggestions on things to do... we had one of our best days after taking her advice. Not a party hostel at all, perfect if you want somewhere to relax with natural birds acting as a soothing alarm clock

What a beautiful spot! It's perfectly removed from the noise and business of town, but still an easy walk into town. The bungalows are simple but adorable, with nice porches for lounging and reading, and the communal hammock area was great for morning yoga and meditation. Very sweet staff. There's hot water for tea, drinking water, and a long list of food options for purchase. Highly recommend if you're looking for a peaceful time in the jungle but still want access to Pai.

Great guesthouse in Pai! Mink is an amazing host and this is definitely the place I stay at when I come back to Pai :) The guesthouse is located away from the main street so you can certainly find some peace here. The views of the surrounding are amazing and the food is great! The rooms are modest and clean with all the amenities one would need!

Yawning Fields has been one of our absolute favorite places to stay thus far in S.E. Asia. Mink and her staff were helpful and always made us feel welcome. The food was also delicious and a major plus (best fruit bowls in Thailand!). If you’re looking for a mellow place to do some major chilling just outside of town, this is the SPOT. Very clean and comfortable, we can’t wait to return to Pai.

I love this place! I like it because it’s quite, and you get a feeling like you are far away from everything, however you are only a 15 minute walk from town and the night walking street. Mink is a great host and she makes killer coffee! I stayed here two years in a row. I look forward to staying again next time I’m in Pai.

Great place to stay if you want to be out of town. It was a closer walk to town than I thought based on other reviews. There are no screens on the windows, but the mosquito net was high quality. Everything was very very clean, even the mosquito net smelled freshly laundered. The bed and pillows were very hard, which is typical for Thailand, but after four days my back really hurt. Shower is nice with very hot water. Mink was lovely.

I loved my time at Yawning Fields, ended up extending my stay. It has a beautiful shared outdoor bathroom, cozy rooms, and absolutely serene surroundings with good WiFi. If you're looking for a quiet, beautiful location, close but removed from town this is perfect. I can't say the customer service is the best. You feel almost like you're annoying the woman in charge when you ask something however, I loved the bungalow so much that I stayed much longer than anticipated.

I loved my stay here! It was out of the way and quiet. I stayed in a private bungalow with my own bathroom which I liked since going out of the room at night to use the toilet can be a bit cold and dark. Nonetheless my little jungle getaway was just what I needed.

The couple seemed to be nice especially Jake, but I found his wife's behaviour too comfortable and lacking skills or interest in what I call hospitality. The location is great and views amazing but that is it. I found the common areas unfit for guests use. the bottles in front of the toilet shouldnt be there, the showers have spiders nets that could be quickly removed I guess and regarding the toilet... Guys it is your job to keep an eye on the toilet paper...
