ZiZi homestay really felt like Ann authentic homestay, with homecoocked meals eaten with ZiZi and her two kids, wonderful treks around the surrounding area, and lots of young children to hang out with during the day. Would highly revomend for anyone looking to do something not as touristy.

An incredible experience, staying with Zizi and her family. It is something different to your usual hostel or hotel but really worth staying there for a night or 2. The weather was pretty bad which kind of ruined plans for hiking and actually meant we didn’t see the potential views. The home cooked dinner made by Zizi was delicious some of the best food I have eaten in Vietnam.

Great staff. Very sweet and friendly. Beds are hard and not very quiet. But we really enjoyed meeting other travelers and the locals here. Had a great trek with the local women. Great experience.

I really loved my stay at Zizis, if you want to be in the town it is quite far out but if you want beautiful scenery right on your doorstep and amazing treks I would definitely recommend! The beds are a bit hard and don’t look too inviting but are actually really cosy once you get the comfy duvet on and the mosquito net down. The atmosphere was so friendly, family dinners were amazing, staff couldn’t do more for you, and it really felt like a home from home - + they had the cutest puppies ever!

Really great location with beautiful views to wake up to. Very welcoming staff and family who were easy to communicate with re: how to get there. They have tours that leave directly from the homestay which we took advantage of, and many of the tour guides spoke great English and we learned so much about the Hmong people! I will say - the road to get out there is pretty challenging and if you take a motorbike be VERY careful. The rainy season destroys the road!!!!! Taxi is worth the expense.

We loved staying at Zizi’s Homestay. Everything was amazing, especially the views and the home cooked dinners enjoyed with new friends. Staff were wonderful and everyone we met was great as well and very social. Sapa is such a beautiful area. Our only complaint is that there was excessive dog barking into the night that made sleeping difficult. Thank you for everything!!!!

    Very Good

Pros: Beautiful location in the country, lovely people and delicious home cooked meals. Experience the local life first hand. Cons: If you cannot deal with bugs, damp clothes, less than ideal bathroom facilities, farm noise or lots of children running around this may not be for you. If Sapa city is where you want to spend most of your time, this is also not the place to be, it’s only 8 km out, but because of the state of the roads, that will take you 20-30 mins by taxi or 2 hours to walk.

    Very Good

    03 Sep 2018
Hostel is in an amazing location and you could easily book trekking and other activities from here. The family dinner and breakfast were both really good. Only downside was that I was the only person staying on the second night and in the morning I had to leave at 9am. The girl on the front desk was no where to be seen then realised she was sleeping in one of the beds. I awkwardly had to wake her to ask if I could pay and leave. No breakfast was offered. Otherwise good experience.
