This hostel is unbellivalbe...situated at the end of Village Chitkul, the view from the Hostel is beyond reality. Cloud changes its color/shape everyday...sky gazing is splendid. For such a location food is amazing....You have to be there to experience it all

I had a lovely time in Zostel, Chitkul. The views are mesmerizing. Probably my personal favorite Zostel. The staff was helpful and friendly. Dorms were clean. Loved the vibe of the common area with board games and beautiful views from the window. Thanks to Mr. Vinit for last minute stay extension and Mintu Bhaiya for the best hot coffee in Kinnaur. Special thanks to Arjun for bringing the coolest vibes and being a host like no other (You da best). Had a gala time! Looking forward to visit again.

Good location, comfy and warm but pricey beds (I think a dorm bed should never exceed 400-450 INR, because otherwise a room at a home-stay looks more interesting), decent common room, good staff. Overall, not a bad choice for a dorm bed!

Overall it was good to stay at Zostel, volunteer and staff were great and friendly, but the hostel lacks basic infrastructure when it comes to Chitkul as the location in the Himalayas i.e. extreme cold. The hostel doesn't have any provisions for electricity backup, no room heater in a common room or/and in dorms, power cutoff is very common in this area also weather is unpredictable. Zostel needs to understand that travellers are not inhabitant & used to such harsh weather condition. If you ca

I booked for 3 nights n for 2 nights i have to stay at somewhere else as my name was not there on the list. I dont know it was website fault or zostel but i suffered a lot. i went there to chill and they ruined it. After booking n making payment in advance if this happens then i dont know what to rate. May be something in minus for such a chaos.
