Often for solo travelers, you need a good hot shower and a sound sleep at night, since the whole day we all end up trekking or exploring the city. I found Zostel Dharamkot quite pleasurable and relieving since the housekeeping service as well as networking activities were quite good. I would highly recommend people to stay here if they wish to stay in a peaceful and quiet location. Only problem one might find is the access to this place, it's a good 15-20min trek uphill. Avoid trolley bags.

The place is really cool if you are planning for a complete detox from the corporate world. The staff is super friendly and proactively tell you about activities around. We stayed for 4 nights and then ended up extending one more night because of the people we met in this place. Recommended.

Solo travelling for the first time made me feel a little nervous about my trip, however Zostels friendly staff and great ambience really made it easy to connect with people. The entire crew was extremely responsive and helpful with queries, special shout out to Kshitij, Aditya and Anirudh. Great location for those looking to get away from the noise. Cheers!

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. They helped us know the place. Food was very tasty and worth the money paid. Banana walnut cake is must try 😊. The only issue was the non motorable stretch of 300mtrs before reaching Zostel.

Great atmosphere and nice staff. A little hard to reach but great natural surroundings, away from the crowded town centre. A little inconvenient to walk back at night since road is barely lit.

Reaching this place is a trek in itself. Common room could be more cleaner. Food is amazing but expensive.

Could improve on the cleanliness and security aspects, staff could be little more helpful and friendly. Cafe was great and food was good.

They DID NOT MENTION ANYWHERE that there was a 500 meters hike up to Zostel. If we knew, we would have carried backpacks NOT suitcases, which we had to carry. They refused to help us also, the sink was leaking, people were smoking openly - against Zostel rules completely. The location was shitty. The only good thing was the people who came to stay there.
