I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels abroad but this was my first hostel experience in India. I’m pleased to say that everything went better than expected. Cleanliness, location, and atmosphere wise the hostel exceeded expectations. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Cheers!

Once again, when you see a review from an Indian.. ignore.. Anyway, great hostel here in Leh. Close to Changspa road, and 10 min walk to main bazaar. A very good restaurant is attached to the hostel, and great staff all over. There's only hot water (sometimes) in the morning and the evening, so cross your fingers for that one They play quite alot of party music until 11 pm, and people get drunk. Good fun, but can also be disturbing when drunk people get into a dorm

Not a great experience. Hot water was not there, WiFi was not working. Having traveled across 4 continents and 9 countries, first hostel where these facilities were really bad. It's basically a cheap hotel being sold as a hostel. @management: being a hostel does not mean you provide sub standard services. I know you are learning and evolving, but please ensure you do that for the experience, not the basic necessities and requirements.

I have very bad experience here. Staff was nice, but the walk from main market to hostel is uphill and it's very dark and scary there in evening and dogs were barking. There was no locks in room so anybody could enter your room. Worse part was wifi. No wifi in rooms. Only near reception and even it don't work at all 90% of time. Later I moved to Himalaya Bunker hostel which was much nicer and safe place with all the basic facilities.

Bad. Shabby rooms with almost no natural light. The common room is shabby and not maintained! No heating system even under extremes of temperature. There is suppose to be hot water for bathing twice a day but almost never available. Ice cold drinking water available occasionally only in ground floor and almost never in the upper floors. The staffs are not friendly, wouldn't spend much time to talk to you or guide you. You can almost see from their attitude that there are only here to do business

This is a hostel which has a big name, high prices but cheap value. The food is really costly and the rooms are not as expected. Staff really has some attitude issues.
