This hostel is such an amazing place to stay at. It being just a bit further away from the main area makes it one of the most peacefull accomodations I ve ever stayed at. Huge, beautifully looking property with lots of fellow travellers and caring staff.

The place is clean, the people are cool, it has a good vibe, very much liked my room… as you will hear from others, it is a little out-of-the-way. That said, that means it's quiet. And not difficult to catch a ride to the center of town. It's a very peaceful place to wake up and have breakfast and hangout. Particularly if you are trying to escape the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu or, God forbid, Delhi.

I feel very mixed about this place. On one hand, the staff are very friendly and the location was perfect for me, on farmland near the lake, and removed from the town. On the other hand, there is very little customer service. Obviously, this is not a five-star hotel, but, for example, the WiFi is the worst I’ve ever experienced. The private room bed was very hard, and when you ask for something, such as for the room to be cleaned, it just doesn’t get done. So it was good and bad.
