Great hostel, friendly staff, comfy beds, 15/20 minutes from the City, great price for what you get and surrounded by bars and restaurants. I would happily stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

No complaints, the location is a bit far from central Amsterdam but the hostel area is fun and the commute is leisurely on a bike

    Very Good

It is clearly a huge hostel, with a lot of people staying in it, so keep that in mind. A lot of things were available, albeit for a price (bed linen, towels, breakfast, parking for 13€ a night...). Since everything in Amsterdam is expensive, this hostel is probably as budget as things get in Amsterdam, so all in all not a bad experience. In fact, everyone was friendly, everything was clean and it is very close to public transport to city center. Would recommend it.

So many school groups and it was always so noisy in the middle of the night. Half an hour out of the city and we didn’t get cleaning service most days. Also there was hardly any food selection at the bar and the kitchen was tiny considering the size of the hostel.

Nice, clean, tidy and huge hostel ... is located south of amsterdam ... is far away from city center although close to metro station ... ( closes at 1am ) so if you stay late ... the only option is the night bus take 2 hours to get to the hostel !!! Didnt like that they make you pay the sheets

There’s no tab for “uncomfortable” when choosing the rating score, but that’s what I’m aiming for here. This was the second most expensive place I’ve stayed on a 6 week trip through Europe and I expected it to have all of the properties that a hostel should - it didn’t. Beds were rock-hard, you had to pay for sheets, and the rooms were super hot despite the nice temperatures outside. A fan was 20€ deposit, which is ridiculous since you should simply have fans in all rooms if it gets that hot.

a&o TERRIBLE!! Firstly the location is time consuming and not as close to anything as made out. The prices in the vending machine are ridiculous and more of a hotel price range. The service at the bar was so slow, almost 20 minutes at the bar with only 3,4 people to serve. No smiles no interest. €4 for bloody bed sheets? Why you charging for sheets. Final thing is kids, its just a big nursery with screaming left right and centre its horrible It should be advertised better not just kids friendly
