Brilliant hostel. Really nice rooms with ensuits and showers in the rooms. The train station opposite was perfect to get into the city also. Unfortunately the bar staff were useless

More of a hotel than a hostel, slept in a room with people 40-50 years older than me so they went to bed around 8 pm...

My experience was good at hotel except the guy(medium height) at reception. I told him that I had reservation he asked me from which country you are I told him then he said when did you reserved I told him that few minutes ago then he said me have not received it, come after 1hour I waited for 1 hour then again he sent me back and after 2 hour when he left the counter his colleague give me keys. He was the most racist person I have met in my life. I was fasting that day and he ruined my day.

Not really a hostel, just a hotel. Crates in the rooms that you can lock. A downside is you have to pay for sheets. *Note: Check in queues get really long at 3 p.m. and shortly after

Upon arrival I waited for 45 minutes in the check-in queue. The staff seemed distracted and overwhelmed by the amount of groups that were arriving that night even though this should be a standard procedure. I had booked a bed in a female dorm for one night. However, after I finally got the key card for the room, it turned out they had put me into a mixed dorm. I had to queue for another hour (!) to change into the female dorm I had booked! I got a free drink because of this but still unpleasant

My group and I arrived to Hamburg early in the morning. We walked 15 minutes from the bus station to the hostel. I definitely would not want to do this walk alone. Went under dark bridges and felt like I was in the ghetto. Trash and graffiti everywhere. Staff was very rude, however, they let us cancel our reservation for free when we decided it wasn’t worth our time to stay at this hostel. Went to Berlin instead. Highly recommend going there.

Horrible organization. Put me in a all girls dorm (according to my roommate this had happened several times that week already) and made me get out at about 1 a.m when I was already sleeping and everyone in the room was fine with it for the night. On top of that the washer worked good but the drier didn't work and the employees were useless in helping me try and figure out the drier which never got done so I had wet clothes for the past couple days. Don't go here.

Basically it is a huge hotel they converted into a hostel by putting bunkbeds in normal style hotel rooms, so 1000s of people staying, and only about 4 staff, they can't cope! Broken glass on floor not been cleaned. 50 people waiting to be served at the bar. Bedsheets cost 3.50 extra! When we arrived in the room it was full of 40 to 50 year old men, and they didn't realy know which beds were free, every empty bed had dirty sheets on which we had to strip off to put our clean on, nasty.

Firstly our bedroom smell really bad to alcohol, the bathroom wasn't cleaned and furthermore someone had taken the blanket and the pillow of our beds, what it's a bit disgusting. Secondly, the security is absolutely none. Someone in my room stole my money and left. In the reception they gave me any solution, even they said that these things can happen because the hostel is big. There is any control of who enter and leave. Third, the people in the share rooms are especially strange.
