I wasn't prepared for how huge the building would be (it was easy to find because i could see it coming from the train.) Everything I needed was provided, staff are always on hand to help. It seemed busy but it was quiet enough to sleep at night.

Nice staff, nice breakfast, clean and big rooms. A little bit noisy at night because of the railway outside.

    Very Good

A&O were undergoing renovations, so some of the facilities were not available. However, we were largely unaffected by this. The hostel itself was very noisy, as the interleading doors in the corridors are fitted with door closers, so 'banged' whenever guests used them. The hostel is on the train lines too.

The rooms were clean and big but there was lack of facilities due to work being done. Also, we had a 3 hour wait to check in which was a pain. However, it did the job for a weekend away. Security wise you couldn’t ask for anything more as big lockers were provided.

Never ever again in this hostel. Extremely noisy at night. I could harrdly sleep because of the noise. Stuff very unfreindly. Cleanning stuff mistakenly took my white t-shirt mixed with sheets and no one was resposible.

Room was fine. Bathroom smelt worse than Satan's armpit. Kitchen was dirty, had no washing up liquid and one - I kid you not - ONE plate (which was greasy, and there were no bowls, no sharp knives, just one tiny pot, etc...)

How this place ranks so highly is beyond me. 1) it was dirty. There was not one surface that didn’t need a good scrubbing. 2) it smelled terrible. The mixture of body odor, alcohol and cigarettes were everywhere. 3) there was no temperature control whatsoever! It’s late June, it’s hot and humid! 4). Not joking at all when I mention the cardboard Elevator. 5) it appears to me that they rent out to a lot of long term people who use this as their residence. In my experience this means trouble
