I liked the place, it has a nice common room and cool that each floor got its own kitchen. The only thing I didn't like is the lack of laundry. How do you wash people's beds, if you cannot wash people's clothes or let them use the washing machine you've got? These are travelers, they are usually tired by the time they get to your hostel and want to sleep in clean clothes as soon as they can. Now, it's cold outside, kinda sad you make it harder and it's pricey for a bed and we wash our own dishes

I loved the property, it was super safe and very clean, we had the private kitchen and dining area in our room. Only there were no activities in the hostel for the travellers, so they can work on atmosphere, apart from that everything was perfect, good location, very good hostel

Be wary of your card information as I got an illegitimate charge after I left for approx $71 USD and had to dispute it with my bank.. was a nice stay until that. I’ll not be returning to Sophie’s hostel.

Hostelworld says

Sophie's Hostel has been favourably compared to a hotel, with "spotlessly clean", "smart-looking and comfortable" rooms and "beautiful, modern minimalist decor", according to our users. Hostelworld guests say they like this hostel's position in New Town, saying "it's a very quick metro ride to the Old Town Square" and "only three blocks away from Wenceslas Square, but you are also a little bit out of the tourist old town so there are some great local restaurants nearby with amazing traditional Czech food". We like that some of the dorms in this hostel don't have bunk beds.
