YHA London Central boasts seven floors of modern, budget accommodation, just five minutes' walk from Oxford Street. This is the perfect place for young backpackers wanting to experience the heart of the capital.

We're within very easy reach of Oxford Circus, Soho and the West End, so great shopping opportunities, restaurants and entertainment await you.

YHA London Central is not equipped for groups - for group bookings please contact YHA London Thameside or YHA London Holland Park, both found here on Hostelworld.

To ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all guests, the lead booker must be 18 years or older. Guests under 18 are welcome to stay when accompanied by an adult. Children under 12 years old are not permitted in shared dormitory rooms and must be booked into private accommodation. Guests aged 12 to 17 may stay in shared dormitories only when accompanied by the adult they are traveling with. Mixed-gender groups who wish to stay in the same room are required to book private rooms.

No never again yha london central. i checked out in the middle of the night around 1am .... it was that bad. i stayed in a female dorm on the 5th floor and the air was stagnant and hot and unbearably hot to sleep.... apparently the air con was out of order. it was like a hot and sweaty sauna. if you like those conditions then it would suit you. i think they had dust mites too i had a constant tickly and itchy throat and after leaving i was ok again. this hostel is like one petri dish.

Large 5-story building, felt more like a hotel just with a dorm-style room. The room had only very small lockable pigeon holes (for say a phone and wallet), but there were bigger lockers available in the basement for my laptop. Otherwise the room was great.
