Ibiza is a Spanish island in the Mediterranean Sea. It belongs to the Balearic Islands and it is known for its outstanding, luxurious parties. The Island started to gain popularity in the 60’s and 70’s when American hippies saw an opportunity to escape from the city life. Ibiza Town (Eivissa) is located closer to the island’s centre and tends to attract a slightly older crowd and here you’ll find a more traditional side of the island. There are plenty of bars and restaurants too and Ibiza Town is home to the world-famous Pacha nightclub. Alternatively, head to a quieter coastal area for a more tranquil beach break.

The city of Ibiza is where you can find the most famous clubs and where most of the parties take place.
