Located directly above one of the biggest party bars in Costa Rica, The Lazy Mon Beach Bar, lazy loft is a small and cozy social space for travellers looking for a taste of the Caribbean beach lifestyle. We are 5 steps from the beach, 20 steps from the bar and restaurant and 50 meters from world famous surf break, Salsa Brava. Whether you're looking for a place to relax, party, surf or crack open a coconut as you sit on the beach, Lazy Loft is the destination for you.

Situated in the centre of town, Lazy Loft provides it's guests with the best location in all of Puerto Viejo. We have an unbeatable view of the ocean from our exclusive balcony, where you can experience nightly live music from the bar below as you sip cocktails while watching the sun set over Stanford Bay.

Lazy Loft is more than a hostel - it's an experience. We have 5 private rooms and two dorms. All of our private rooms are attached to a balcony. We have a large communal kitchen, shared bathrooms and great artwork throughout the hostel from artists all over the word.

Important note** We do party on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The hostel will have music below until 2:30-3am these days.** It is the best party in town and you will have front row seats!!
The reception service is open from 7:30 to 22:30
