Getting around Havana can be a bit of a mission. If you don’t want to walk or the distance is too far to cover by foot, we suggest taking a taxi. Colectivos are taxis that run on long-distance, fixed routes; they leave when they’re full so be prepared for a squishy ride, but it will probably be quicker and cheaper than a bus. Lastly, if you’re trying to get between cities or provinces you can take a truck from a provincial or municipal bus stop with truck departures.
