Las Cometas Hostel

Las Cometas (the kites) is Jerico's only backpacker hostel. We welcome you to explore and chill in our colourful town in the hills of Antioquia. The hostel is a traditional Jerico courtyard building with plenty of space to share a cold beer and maybe a bonfire with other travelers, and hammocks under the orange tree in the garden for you to relax with a cup of local coffee.

We love Jerico and the surrounding green hills, and we work with local artisans, guides, adventure tours and even Spanish teachers to help you make the most of your stay. Las Cometas is located on a quiet street in the center a short walk from the sights, museums, shops and restaurants and bars. Every morning we serve a free specialty coffee from a local coffee farm with a Jerico chocolate.
