Welcome to Villa San Juan. We are very happy of being your hosts, and our aim is that you find here your home in the mountains. We are in the middle of the east mountain range of the Andes, near to Mongui. We look forward to offer a very comfortable and secure place, with the most amazing landscape, away from the noise and in the calm of the mountains, but located strategically in the middle of all the attractions to know.

Stay here, and you will be able to hike all the paramos around us, or to go there by bicycle, including of course the Paramo de Oceta. Rock climbing in Puente Reyes Park is also one of our favorites. Visiting towns is also a great option, with around 20 towns easy to reach in a 1 day trip. Lago de Tota will take a 1 hour trip to get there, and Mongui only 10 minutes.

All of our rooms have private bathroom, and all of our beds have orthopedic mattresses and thermal blankets. You will find our kitchen the best place to make your happy your soul with food. We will provide all the information and contacts for you to meet all the amazing natural and cultural heritage around us.

the hostel and location is nice but the owner is a right wing polatotion who support the Isreal government. He expresses his veiws very openley even why you ask him to change the topic.

This hostel is like a perfect little oasis. It's about a 15 min bus ride from Monguí. It's a perfect place to relax since the views from the hostel are unbeatable and there are many places to get cozy with a book. This is one of the best hosts I have ever experienced. The hosts cooked dinner every morning, even when I had to get up early, and helped organize tours and meetings with local vendors. I can't recommend staying here enough. If you need to get away from the city to need to get here!

Staying in the hostal was an amazing experience! I have stayed in the female dormitary which is so cozy, tidy and clean. The views of the moantains are such a nice way to start the morning there. The tour they organize to the Paramo is the most incredible place I have ever been to. They also offer different recommendations about what to do nearby, what treks to do, what cities to visit. Mongui is approx. 10 minutes by bus, you can catch the bus on the road, they come often.
