Basic room but good value. We loved the breakfasts at the property but didn’t try the other meals there. Kind and helpful staff. Some issues with power but beyond the control of the property.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms and bed are big. The host is an absolute superstar - he welcomed us with cold juices and watermelon and organized several tours for us for a very good prize with great tour guides (e.g. African pool, boat tour with snorkeling). It felt much more like an Airbnb experience as the host was very nice and supportive. Great value for the prize and Diani Beach is absolutely stunning!

Not a safe hostel to stay at, I received uncomfortable attention from the host of the property and someone tried to break into my room at night. Worst experience I have ever had at a hostel, please do not stay there, especially as a female on your own.
