About
Sheriff's Farm is a village in the central part of Meybod city in Yazd province. This village is of special importance in terms of tourism. Most of its inhabitants are Zoroastrians and speak Behdini dialect. This village dates back to the Safavid era.
The architecture of this village has a unique design and engineering. The houses are built on a sloping surface made of clay and mud and have long corridors. Their roofs have windshields and are designed to be connected in such a way that they are inseparable from the top of the roof.
Each house has long corridors and the plans of the two houses are designed so that they can not be separated from the roof space. The landscape of the village is also important from the ecotourism point.
