Makofi Guest House is the fruit of friendship and honesty. Here everyone trusts each other. This is the main reason why you will feel “at home” straight away.

Makofi Guest House Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation policy: Free cancellation 60 days before arrival. After that, or at the time of booking if the start of your stay is within 60 days, you will be required to pay 50% of the total amount as a deposit. The remaining amount have to be paid at check-in. In case of cancellation or no-show, the deposit will not be returned.

Check in from 13:00 to 23:00 .
Check out from 00:00 to 11:00 .

Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards.
Breakfast included.

City Tax: 4$ per person per night

General:
24 hours reception.

No children under the age of 5 are allowed on this property.
Quiet hours: 10:30pm to 08:00am

Absolutely loved Makofi Guest House! I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm room. I’ve been traveling through Kenya and Tanzania for 3 weeks and this was the most comfortable bed and pillow from the whole trip! Each bed provided a mosquito net, dedicated fan, and bedside light. There were lots of cool chill places and swings to hang out and lounge around. They provided onsite parking, a great breakfast, and a trip to Mnemba Idland for $30 USD. Makofi provided a great value in a good location.

This hostel was wonderful. Super social, the highlight of my time in Zanzibar. The food was great, the staff accommodating. WiFi was also strong/consistent versus other spots I stayed.
