Welcome to our hostel, a place of rest and tranquility in the city of León. We are located near the 'Río Chiquito' forest, an ideal place for guests who want to enjoy nature and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Our hostel is perfect for those who want a place of rest in the midst of a colonial city full of history. We are only a 10-minute walk from the city center, which means our guests can enjoy the cultural and gastronomic life of León at any time.

In addition, we offer breakfasts for an additional pricein the room price so that our guests can start the day with energy. If you are interested in nightlife, you will be happy to know that León has a vibrant scene of bars and restaurants for all tastes.

If you feel like a day at the beach, the beautiful beaches of Poneloya and Las Peñitas are just 40 minutes away by public bus from the city.

In summary, our hostel is a peaceful place, surrounded by nature, ideal for those who want to rest and enjoy the city of León and its surroundings. We look forward to welcoming you to our home away from home!

Let me tell you that this was the worst hostel I have been through since the beginning of my trip….the room smells really bad because of the humidity and I think they don’t open them a lot for air to come in… the shower well there was just some small drops coming out so impossible to shower properly… Also the location is quite far from the center so you have to walk 20 min before arriving in the center which is fine but during the night it’s a little more sketchy…

Staff are chill, friendly and accommodating. Canela (dog) and Patri (cat) are really sweet. There's a very reasonably priced bar with a little pool ideal to cool off especially since the air conditioning is pretty much nonexistent. Some rooms come with A/C which is great but outside of that very hot and sticky. Kitchen is kind of thing. Toilets also kind of thing and showers VERY poor. Couldn't wash my hair at any point as you can't get more than a trickle of lukewarm water out of them if anything

This is definitely a more budget hostel. No social atmosphere and didn’t feel the most clean. We also didn’t have running water for the majority of our stay, so we couldn’t shower or flush the toilet. the staff didn’t not even attempt to compensate us for this or give us any explanation when we complained.

About Leon

Walk through centuries of Nicaragua's history in León, the country's second biggest city. Along with Granada, it’s also one of the oldest colonial cities in Latin America. As you wander along the eclectic streets, you'll see neoclassical architecture mingling with revolutionary graffiti and murals. Cast your eyes beyond the city skyline and you'll also spot natural wonders like the Momotombo Volcano, which is still active today. The city streets are alive with energy – from the bustling food markets to the local salsa bars.

A stay in a León hostel that was once a colonial house will get you up close to the history of the city. Choose a hostel with a garden and sway in a hammock when the temperature rises. Want to get active? Some León hostels run volcano boarding tours (think of it as sledging, only on volcanic dust). Places with live music and salsa nights have your evening entertainment sorted, while staying in a hostel with a bar means a cocktail is never far away. Look out for hostels in León with free Wi-Fi too.

In the central district of León, museums, monuments and restaurants are all within walking distance. At night, the so-called 'Backpacker Alley' (2nd Avenue NE) is the place to be thanks to its bars and live music scene. To see the city's more upscale side, head to Fátima, León's affluent, residential district. Just outside of the city in Puerto Momotombo, you can see the ruins of León Viejo, the city's original settlement.

Tours at León's Museo de la Revolución are given by former revolutionaries themselves, so you get a first-hand account of the city's past. If it’s not enough to look up and marvel at the architecture of the cathedral, climb to the top and take in the view of the surrounding volcanoes too. For souvenirs and food, drop by the Mercado Central. Looking for something a bit different? The Museum of Tradition and Legends is full of oddities such as huge papier-mâché mannequins.

The closest airport to León is Augusto Cesar Sandino International Airport in Managua, the capital of Nicaragua. Take a bus from the centre of Managua and you can be in León in around 90 minutes. Thinking about how to get around town? Take the bus, rent a bike or flag down a taxi.
