HostelExp, Gokarna, is strategically located 300 meters away from Gokarna Main Beach. We are a vibrant, diverse, and responsible travelers' community in Gokarna, running a backpackers hostel by collaborating with locals, volunteers, and artists. If you want to know and experience the true Gokarna, this is the place.
HostelExp, Gokarna, offers different local experiences, yoga classes, a community kitchen, and much more. We have private rooms with patios and a few dormitory beds.
You will experience a relaxing (but not luxurious) stay by sharing farm space with cows, chickens, dogs, and other animals around the farm. Please do not complain to us about dogs or chickens disturbing you.
We do not have car parking facilities.
We have laundry facilities.
We offer homely local food like Masala Dosa, Thali, etc.
We have an in-house hand-poked tattoo studio.
We also run workshops and skill-sharing sessions. You are welcome to join our workshops and learn or offer one yourself if you have a skill you would like to share with others.
Property Policies
No groups larger than 3 people allowed.
No noise/music after 11 pm.
Be kind to the Experience Gokarna team.
Be kind to volunteers and locals.
Don't ask silly questions; look at the blackboard at the reception.
Do not disturb or harm animals around the farm.
Hang your wet clothes in the laundry drying area.
Cancellation policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of late cancellation or no show, you will be charged for the first night of your stay.
Check-in from 12:00 noon to 23:00.
Check-out before 10:00 AM.
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Taxes not included - 12%.
Breakfast not included.
We do not accept customers younger than 18 years of age.
Non-smoking in the rooms but have a smoking area.
Reception working period: 08:00~22:00.
