On the up side, the beds are super comfortable and big- full sized instead of twin. Lots of privacy. On the downside, there is no social scene at all. Nobody goes to any of the activities, I went to Viajero to make friends and socialize. There were also loud renovations going on the whole time and we only had one small bathroom in our dorm because the other wasn’t working the entire time. Not bad to sleep, but not good to socialize.

Had an amazing stay. They were renovating and I got upgraded to a private room. The hostel didn’t have a lot of people staying there so activities were a bit sporadic but it is very clean and I felt safe staying there. 5-10 min walk from the beach and most restaurants. The fridge in the kitchen prob needs to be cleaned out. The kitchen could use some paper towels, more utensils and more bowls

I can’t recommend staying here if solo Pros: the bed (super comfortable and private), AC in the rooms at night, a nice roof terrace and pool, location. Many major issues: no hot water, only one bathroom in the 8-bed female dorm (but two in the 8-bed mixed dorm), extremely bad shower pressure, breakfast started an hour late, rude staff, very few guests so not much atmosphere (at one point there were more volunteers than guests), endless and disruptive renovations to turn it into a boutique hotel
