Jaco Inn Surf Club

Jaco Inn Surf Club is a tropical coliving haven in the bustling center of downtown Playa Jaco. Once you enter the front gate, the noise of the street disappears and you step into the city’s only garden oasis. Here you will find our coliving house, featuring 7 private rooms and ample shared spaces. We host travelers and digital nomads who are looking for a comfortable base where they can live their best lives. We support your needs with daily breakfast, daily cleaning, onsite yoga classes, professional surf instruction, beach bike rentals, and more. Stay for a few nights, do a week-long surf camp, or check out our coliving program and stay for a month or more!

We are located in the center of Playa Jaco, at the intersection of Calle Bohio and Avenida Pastor Diaz, behind Cafe Bohio. Our hostel is only 100m from the beach and you can surf right out front! We have a yoga and fitness studio onsite and coliving guests have access to the private cowork office located on the second floor of the cafe. We host guests who are interested in learning how to surf, do yoga, and want to connect with the local culture.

Each room has clean sheets, towels, a small desk, and ceiling fans. Common areas are open air and generously shaded so you'll stay cool all day long. Enjoy our tropical gardens—mangos and limes from the garden are on the house! We also have a yoga and fitness studio onsite, a cafe serving espresso-based drinks and breakfast in front of the property, and we are located a mere 100 meters from the beach.

Jaco Inn Surf Club Policy and Condition:

CHECK-IN
Check-in is at 2:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your bags behind the front desk; feel free to use the common areas while you wait or take a walk around town.

Any remaining balance must be paid upon arrival – we accept cash, debit, or credit.

You will find your key in hanging from the doorknob of your room, please let yourself in.

CHECK-OUT
Check-out is at 11:00 AM. All of your belongings MUST be removed from the room by 11:00 AM.

You are welcome to place your belongings behind the front desk and hang out in the common areas as long as you need to on the day of your departure, but it is essential that your room is vacated by 11:00 AM so our cleaning staff can prepare for the next guests.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Full refund up to 10 days before arrival.
After 10 days, we collect the first night's stay.
**If you cancel 24 hours or less before your arrival, we collect 50% of the full payment.**

If there is no one at the front desk during your check out please leave the key on the kitchen table.

HOSTEL RULES
1. No pets allowed. We have a few pets and strange pets tend to upset them, so we do not allow guests to bring their own pets.
2. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. These hours are strictly enforced and we trust all of our guests to respect them.
3. Unregistered guests are not allowed on the property past 10:00 PM. An unregistered guest includes friends, dates, or companions that you meet during your stay; in other words, only the guest(s) of the original reservation can stay in their respective rooms.
4. Please clean up after yourself! Any dishes, pots, pans, or utensils from the kitchen should be cleaned immediately after use and the counters and stove top should be wiped down so that the space is clean and comfortable for other guests to use. An extra cleaning fee will be charged if you are unable to clean up after yourself.
5. When you return from the beach please use the outdoor shower to remove all sand. It is located along the wall at the end of the brick road.
6. Do not enter the hostel dripping wet; please have your towel on hand after going to the beach and using the outdoor shower.
7. Smoking is not allowed in any of the rooms or in the main house. Please step outside to smoke and properly dispose of your buds.
8. Any violation of our rules or any act that threatens the physical or emotional integrity of any members of our staff or guests will not be tolerated, and you will be asked respectfully to leave the property without the right to a refund.
