The property has a lot of potential, but the way it is being managed is terrible. Its in a rough area which I never felt unsafe, but some other people staying there would keep the balcony door open they left a candle burning etc. There were guests on the main level leaving their door open and yelling all day and night. They were also smoking and i could smell it coming into my room during the night. the room was not cleaned properly, you could tell no one swept the floors or wiped anything down.

First time I stayed at Normandie months ago it was clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Mostly respectful guests. Now there are some unsavory people there who steal, threaten others, fight, don't clean up. A few really loud guys just sit in front of the back units & smoke weed, incl. the young guy working there (no smoking allowed). A guest had her package & other items stolen. Management doesn't effectively handle issues that come up. Electric lockers don't even work anymore.
