Generally pretty good especially considering price. No lockers but could ask staff to store bags. Day staff very friendly and helpful although sometimes not around despite 24/7 reception claim. Nighttime staff not around and nights were dodgy especially travelling alone. People fighting, drinking, taking drugs, entering other rooms, etc all night, and random people came in from outside. Probably better in high season or travelling in groups, but pretty disconcerting when alone.

This place is well located, right next to two supermarkets. The guys taking care of the hostel were great: thank you for letting me stay 4 hours, warming up around the wood stove, while waiting for my transfer to the airport. Breakfast is a bit small, but good. Rooms weren’t super clean (under the beds & drawers), but it was alright. The showers had sufficient hot water. The only issue I had is that it gets really cold at night in the rooms. A small heater would make it so much more comfortable.
