Welcome to Coco Bamboo Beach Camp, an eco-community deeply passionate about our way of life. Here, we’re more than just a community; we’re a big family that lives together, supports one another, shares adventures, and bonds over cozy fires. We cherish genuine connections with ourselves, each other, and nature, embracing simplicity, community, and responsible living—along with coconuts and bamboo, of course!

Nestled in Guatemala's Caribbean, our little paradise boasts a private white sand beach, kayaks for exploring the mangroves, and a backyard forest currently evolving into a thriving food forest through agroforestry. Our camp is a vibrant playground for art, eco-development, and community spirit—a hidden gem we discovered a decade ago during our travels. Rustic, adventurous, and off-grid, it offers an authentic experience away from the ordinary.

We're here to share our lives with you, not to serve you. We love gathering for meals, engaging in daily activities, and sharing knowledge about our ongoing projects and more!

You’ll also meet our two friendly dogs, Aika and Batzi, who are part of our community.

Please note that our space is drug-free and not geared toward partying. Evenings can be spent around a beach bonfire, enjoying games in the communal area, or sharing deep conversations during a midnight swim in the ocean.

To reach us, travel to Puerto Barrios or Livingston; we’re conveniently located between the two. Ask to be dropped off at Santa Maria del Mar, with boat rides costing around 70Q. We also offer private boat services—feel free to inquire!

In our village, there’s only one shop with basic snacks. We provide simple breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with snack options throughout the day, as well as beverages. Outside alcohol isn’t permitted on the property.

We maintain a speaker curfew from 9 PM to 11 AM, but live music by the fire is always welcome!

Coco Bamboo Beach Camp Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
