MIL PASOS HOSTEL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Cancellation policy:
Non-refundable rates - Your reservation is non-flexible and non-refundable. If you choose to cancel your booking, or in the case of a no-show, you will still be charged the full cost of your booking plus a 3% surcharge for card payment.
Check in from: 14:00 to 21:00.
Check out: 10:30
Reception works from 9:00 to 21:00

Minimum age: 18
Maximum age: 35
No curfew.

Reservation and Payment Terms:
1. Full payment is made by the Guest in advance through the agreed payment method. This payment confirms the reservation and is deemed acceptance of this contract. The total price of accommodation is in RON (taxes not included:20%)
1.1. The Guest agrees that the service is considered 'delivered' upon check-in, and 'reserved and guaranteed' once the reservation is confirmed and paid, whether or not the Guest uses the services.
1.2. By completing the reservation and payment process, the Guest explicitly confirms that they have reviewed and accepted the full contract, including all terms, conditions, and policies provided on the booking platform or via email. The Guest acknowledges that this constitutes valid and enforceable electronic consent under EU Regulation No. 910/2014 (eIDAS) and the Romanian Civil Code.
1.3. The Provider reserves the right to request a security deposit for potential damages to the property. This may be done either:
● (a) via a pre-authorization hold on the Guest’s credit or debit card prior to or at check-in, or
● (b) as a cash deposit to be paid at check-in.
The amount of the deposit and its release procedure shall be communicated to the Guest in advance. Any damages caused by the Guest or accompanying persons may be deducted from the deposit (card or cash) without additional consent, with documentation and notice provided to the Guest. If no damages are identified, the cash deposit shall be returned at check-out.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
2. All reservations are non-refundable, non flexible and non-transferable unless otherwise expressly stated in writing by the Provider.
2.1. In the event of a cancellation, no-show, early departure, or refusal of services by the Guest, no refunds shall be issued, and no chargebacks shall be accepted by the Provider.
2.2. This policy is consistent with Art. 16 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU), transposed into Romanian law, which excludes the right of withdrawal for services related to accommodation when a specific period is agreed.
2.3. The Guest agrees not to seek a refund or compensation through any third-party payment processor, bank, or platform in parallel with the terms agreed herein. If a third party issues a refund without the Provider’s consent, the Guest shall remain liable for the full payment and agrees to reimburse the Provider accordingly.

Guest Obligations
3. The Guest agrees to respect all house rules, laws, and regulations of Romania throughout the stay.
3.1. Any damage caused by the Guest or persons accompanying them shall be the full responsibility of the Guest, who agrees to compensate the Provider accordingly.

Chargeback Protection and Dispute Resolution
4. The Guest confirms and agrees that they have received full and clear information about the property, services, and policies prior to booking, and that the services were described accurately and truthfully.
4.1. The Guest waives any right to initiate a chargeback claim through their bank or credit card issuer unless the Provider fails to deliver the services as per this agreement.
4.2. Any disputes shall first be resolved amicably. If no agreement is reached, disputes shall be referred to the competent court in Romania, with jurisdiction at the Provider’s registered address.
4.3. This contract serves as written and legal proof of the Guest’s agreement to the accommodation and payment conditions, and may be presented to any financial institution as evidence in the event of a dispute or attempted chargeback.
4.4. The Guest waives any right to transfer or contest jurisdiction in another country or legal system. This contract shall be enforced in accordance with Romanian law, and its terms are fully admissible in court as written proof of the Guest's informed agreement and acknowledgment of services rendered.

Final Provisions
5. The Parties declare that they have read and understood the terms, and sign it knowingly and voluntarily.
5.1. A confirmation via email/payment shall be considered valid acceptance.
5.2.This contract is governed by Romanian law.
Booking Policy: When making a reservation with us and at the time of check in, you will be required to provide identification information including, your name, email address, contact telephone number, credit card information.
The name on the credit card must match the guest's name, otherwise the reservation will be cancelled.
Prepaid cards and virtual cards may not be accepted (At the property's discretion) If you do not have a physical card you will be subject to a cash security deposit.
Local travelers: To be able to stay with us you must live at least 200 km. From BUCHAREST (WE RESERVE THE RIGHT OF ADMISSION)
In our hostel we like to encourage new connections among solo travelers, therefore, we do not accept reservations from groups of more than 2 people, any reservation that does not comply with this rule or any of the above will be charged and cancelled without any kind of refund, Multiple reservations from the same person or from several people forming a group are also not accepted.
