We focus on activities to promote Mayan and Guatemalan traditions and culture like Cooking Classes.
Also we focus on giving a safe and peaceful place for travelers, in a great location connected to the lake, with a place to chill and take the sun.
We just have 1 private room, and other where the owner lives; so the vibe is made for people who prefer a homely and safe place to sleep, in an empathetic and collaborative environment; even though, during the day, we have visits from people who attend the Cooking Classes. (That's why we don't have a hotel or hostel sign).
Because it is a homely vibe, we have some rules of coexistence, so being under a high influence of alcohol or any other drug, disturbing the peace of the place during the day or night, and have visits to the rooms by guests of guests are not allowed; being that some basic rules.
The owner lives on site, so the quality is maintained.
We are a self-service place, we promote people's independence, so we are going to give you a key from the main entrance.
The island is completely safe, so you can walk around it late at night, and we have everything close in a walking distance: super market, travel agencies, restaurants, transportation, laundry, etc.

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged all the nights of your stay.
