Keep it simple and back to nature at this peaceful and centrally-located hostel one block from one of Nicaragua's finest surf beaches.

The beach parties are just 5 min away but here it's calm, cool (ish) and quiet. Casa Esmeralda is well-suited to those with mobility challenges, with wheelchair ramps everywhere, handrails and a super safe awesome outdoor shower. Beach access path and corner store with bus stop are just across the street. Life can't get any simpler. Come chill 😎

I have a very large, totally private inner garden with one large, 2-story house at one end and a smaller independent casita on the other, where I work and sleep. The main house has a spacious outdoor salon with a home cinema at one end and a large dining room table in the middle in front of the large, fully equipped indoor/outdoor kitchen. Hamacas hang from the porch/salon where it meets the garden.

Casa Esmeralda offers a wheelchair accessible double room with A/C, a spacious triple room and an upstairs dormitory that sleep 8 in 4 bunk beds. All bedrooms have private bathrooms with modern (NOT suicide) showerheads. Guests are also welcome to use the cool outdoor surf shower and the outdoor fully equipped laundry room behind my casita.

Parking is available free of cost for guests. At Casa Esmeralda, we can also host campers, motorhomes, trailers, tents, yurts etc.

Casa Esmeralda Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation Policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
