Bathrooms were disgusting, toilet paper and hair everywhere, floors were covered in water constantly, all the bins were overflowing and werent changed over the 3 days I was there.

Absolutely terrible experience. Loud music from the bar downstairs until 3 AM and no hot showers in October. Older reviews show these issues have been going on for a long time, yet nothing changes. That’s how bad this place is: I’m genuinely considering taking legal action. Avoid capsule room 102 at all costs. Honestly, you are better off sleeping on the street with a good blanket!!

Very overpriced for what it is. There are no windows in the rooms or bathrooms, it’s very unclean, lockers are too small to fit belongings, outlets need replacing. I couldn’t lock up my belongings, the trash was overfilled for the entirety of my stay, restrooms are extremely unclean, no fridge to store food, common area is very small, bedrooms are so small they can’t even fit all of the people in the room at once. I’ve stayed in way nicer hostels for half the price

Hostelworld says

Hostelworld visitors have said St Christopher's Village is the place to go if you are young and want to have fun. This party hostel has nice staff and just the right amount of rooms/travellers, making it easy for anyone to meet new people. One of our guests said this hostel is within short walking distance of two subway [stations] and well within walking distance from more of the major attractions in downtown London.
