Hello there from the staff of “TamaHostel & Glamping”.

We are 5 minutes away from downtown and Tamarindo beach.

Tamarindo is one of the most beautiful beaches of Costa Rica, a special place to watch a stunning unforgettable sunset, enjoy an endless summer kind of life, swim and surf in one of the favorites surf spots of our country, meet great people, practice other languages, eat good food and make friends that come from all around the world.

Our Hostel Glamping property has salt Swimmingpool, security 24 hours, inside parking lot, full equipped kitchen, BBQ area, rancho with hammocks to chill out, spacious common full bathrooms, lockers, internet wi-fi and cable TV, A/C hostel shared rooms, confortable delux tend with queen bed, mosquito net and fan, also a private accommodation with shared bathroom and a little house with A/C, kitchen and its own bathroom.

If you are wondering about our beds, just to let you know, all our beds are equipped with orthopedic mattresses.

We are surrounded by beautiful almond trees and sometimes raccoons and iguanas, -we hope you are a nature lover-.

We love good manners, happy faces and humbles souls. We will welcome you and do our best to give you a wonderful experience if you choose us.

This is my 5th or 6th time staying at this amazing hostel. It’s my absolute favourite. Like a mini resort the way it is set up. Big common space to chill and socialize. Nice little pool. Owners are great and the staff, though always changing, has always been great. It’s close and walkable to everything you need. It’s not a party hostel, so you won’t be kept up late, but it’s alway seems to attract such great social and friendly travellers. I’ve made so many friends here!

Loved this hostel and especially all of the people there. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Nice common area with hammocks and clean pool for cooling off midday. I stayed in a tent which I really enjoyed other than the fact that there was no locker in or near the tent itself. There is a loop to lock the tent zippers closed, but a locker would be more secure. The staff did inform me that I could have used a locker in one of the dorm rooms. After getting a feel for the town I felt very secure
