Nomads Desert Retreat

The retreat consists of 4 huts and a kitchen all built in the traditional style. We are also making a vegetable garden that people who stay can help us with.

It is a tranquil haven, a retreat, a chance to experience the simplicity of desert life. We welcome our guests to the farm to experience one or more nights in the total tranquillity of the Thar Desert.

After some years running the highly-successful Nomads Guesthouse in Jaisalmer, we started building a retreat in the Thar desert to share with people our love and passion for desert life and culture. When we arrived it was a patch of desert, with just a single tree. We originally built a couple of huts and a kitchen in the traditional style and started a vegetable garden, and started taking our guests out to experience one or more nights in the peace of the desert.

5. Reception working hours: 24 hours.

10. Curfew: Guests should be quiet after 24:00.
