Inside The Only Living Fort of India there are lot of old and ancestral houses which are now being converted into Hotels, Shops or Restaurants. Among them is one of the Oldest Haveli in Fort named 'Suraj Haveli'. Named after the real owner of it, Shri Suraj Karanji Vyas, who was Teacher of the Maharaja at that time and also his Legal Advisor.

Build in 1526 A.D. it belongs to owners since then. We are the 17th Generation of Suraj Karanji Vyas living in 'Suraj Haveli'. As we are more focused on maintaining the originality of our ancestral property we have tried to maintain the main structure of the building and changes are made only on the places where it was necessary.

Our family live on the ground floor of 'Suraj Haveli'. There are 5 rooms on upper floors which take you back in history giving a feel of being wedged in time. Running Our 'Suraj Haveli' as a Home stay facility for last 25 years, we have given a very good experience to our customers which is mostly liked by the new guests.

5. Reception working hours 09:00-23:00.

7. Taxes not included. 1000-2499 INR, 12% tax; 2500-7499 INR, 18% tax; over 7500 INR, 28% tax.
