It is located just at the gate of Tallinn's medieval old town - a minute's walk away from the busy port of Tallinn. Fat Margaret's is a perfect place to stay for ones keen on exploring the Historical Tallinn with its narrow streets and picturesque red roof-tops - not mentioning the cafes, bars, nightclubs and restaurants. The hostel offers for it's guests simple but comfy rooms, helpful staff and easy-on-the pocket prices, which make the place perfectly suitable for travellers of all ages. Hostel offers a possibility for a free morning sauna and pool.

Great value hostel! I was impressed by the facilities and being less than 10 minutes from the heart of Old Town. The private rooms were quite nice (and quiet despite being on the main floor). I would definitely stay here again!

This hostel is good enough. Good location, felt safe. Do not come here if you’re looking for a social atmosphere. The sauna and plunge pool are only open from 7a-11a. Definitely an interesting crowd here, a mix of families, older adults and not many solo travelers. Not social. Beds were totally fine, kitchen massive and had lots to use which I really appreciated.

Great hostel. Older building, but they are currently renovating, and the older rooms are still comfortable. Great bunks, kitchen has pretty much everything you need. Free waffles in the morning (until they run out) as well as morning sauna & plunge pool from 9-11am. Nice big keyed locker for each bunk. Easily walkable to old town - it’s just across the road, as well as tram stop. Walkable from the ferry port too. Social space is chill. Would stay again.
