honestly the 6.1 reviews are about correct. the place hasn’t been cleaned in months… maybe years even :) but I will play devils advocate and tell you the PROS: 1- best location (good hood), go visit Comala Cafe for breakfast like three blocks away. 2- the checkin process was really quick, they accept cards and they dont keep and ID for the towel rental. 3- as opposed to most hostels were people are very loud and partying, at this place you can actually sleep! its super quiet. enjoy ;)

The one good thing is the staff are friendly. They don't have free breakfast or free bikes like they advertised. Never had toilet paper or soap in the bathrooms. Overall the place is pretty dirty. The door to our private room didn't lock and you could easily push it open which is why we didn't feel safe.

The friendly and helpful staff were the highlight. But the hostel lacked basics, like drinking water, and soap in the bathrooms. It was also generally pretty dirty. There's no real reason to stay here when there are better options in the city for 10 extra pesos.
