About

Herdade dos Barros is a rural hotel located in Alentejo (Portugal), just 2 hours away from Lisbon.

Our main objective is to provide all the comfort and well-being to our guests, in perfect harmony with nature and the historical heritage existing in the region.

Here you can regroup, waking to the sound of birds singing, breathe fresh air and live with our animals (cows, chickens, pigs, peacocks, ducks, etc..). At night, to relax, you can look up and admire a magnificent sky full of stars, and experience an unparalleled sense.

But if you prefer more animation, you can occupy your free time with: museums, castles, tour to wineries and vineyards, historic villages, etc.

Herdade dos Barros is very well located and very close to the following areas of tourist interest: Monsaraz (15 min.), Vila Viçosa (15 min.), Évora (40min.), Badajoz (40 min.), Lisbon (2 hours).

Cancellation policy: 48h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 14:00 to 22:00 .
Check out from 08:00 to 11:00 .
