The hostel is nice but dirty (especially the bathroom). The room was really small and we couldn’t even open the window. The smell from the carpet on the floor of the room was persistent. The position is great and the people too.

The hostel is just a few minute walk from the station, and in the centre of Cork. The staff was kind and helpful, but the bedrooms and common areas weren’t very clean; I stayed (by chance) in the same room on a Monday and then the following Thursday and there was the same dirty pad in the bathroom on both my stays, and the bathroom looked overall pretty dirty. The kitchen and dining area had sticky tables and dirty flooring.
