Lovely people and cozy vibe but the kitchen needs serious updating. No nonstick pots/pans exist all coating has been scraped right off. All pots are warped and many missing handles. Mugs are cracking. There’s also mainly plates and a couple of shallow bowls.Rooms need a serious deep clean but sheets are fresh. Bathrooms and kitchen cleaned daily which is great. Close to laguna torre trailhead but a 15min walk into town.

The owner was great, so knowledge about trekking/hiking and avoiding fees! Mil gracias. The rooms were spacious, safe, and comfortable. There were 3 bathrooms & it felt like they were always occupied. The bathrooms got dirty quickly, despite the fact that they were cleaned everyday (so maybe this is more bc of the guests than the hostel itself). The kitchen was functional but not very clean. Overall, good place to stay. Very close to start of Laguna Torre trail!

This is a very honey place with only a few rooms, a very decent kitchen and three great bathrooms which is exactly enough for the size of the accomodation. The location is near the start of some hiking trails, the walk into town is a bit further, but shouldn't be an issue. The owner only speaks Spanish but is super friendly and helpful and even let us pay with PayPal when we weren't able to get cash anywhere. Cleanliness could be better, lots of stuff just laying around for days on the floor.
