Somewhere Special Guesthouse

Where to start... Claudia was an excellent hostess. She was informative and accommodating. The guesthouse room was spacious, clean and neat. The large bathroom was functional. At one block away from the ocean, the location was great. Being in the heart of this village also meant loud music from local bars on some nights. Overall, a special place for home base.

There was a bar built in the pandemic that blares music unpredictably, there's no working air conditioner, the mattress is stiff, and the mosquito net has holes in them. The hostel is just some extra rooms in a house so if you are looking for a hostel to meet others you are better off at a hotel and meeting people through activities. I was sleep deprived, overheated, and with back aches the 4 days I was there and even with ~$40/night I felt it was very overpriced.

Such a beautiful place. A Carribbean experience like no other. X
