Grand Hostel is located in a renovated, 15th century building, Brama Swietojanska which is one of Gdansk main sights. We are offering spacious privates with bathroom and a beautiful river view, economy privates with shared bathroom and dorms.

Heart of the Old city of Gdansk, upon Motlawa river, plenty of restaurants, pubs nearby. Gdansk Old City, Motlawa River. Historical, beautiful area with famous sights such as the Crane, St. Mary's Church, Dluga Street. Plenty of restaurants and pubs. There is also a marine across the river .

As our guest you can use free Wi-Fi, sound proofed common room with xbox, fully equipped kitchen. Our beds are composed of premium mattresses that will provide You great sleep.

We stayed 3 nights at the hostel, the location is great if you want to be in the centre since is right in front of the canal in a very lively street, so it’s quite noisy at night. Since there’s no reception you need to check in and out yourself which wasn’t difficult at all. And there’s a telephone number people can call if needed. Cleanliness was ok. Experience was ok in general but I found the room quite small and overpriced.

checking in was a nightmare for me. ive never done a self check-in hostel, and didnt know to send a contact number. when i arrived, i called the number on the door and they didnt answer for about 45 minutes. i was about to just get a room somewhere else when they called and said theyd send me the entry codes. after that, it was wonderful! clean, comfy, located in a great spot. i didnt check out the kitchen/living area, so i dont have anything to say about that. id come back!
