La Casa de Maruja BB

Stayed here in the low season and was the only guest for a few days, but this suited me just fine since I was up early a lot for hikes and wanted to come back to a chill environments. I booked a dorm but since it was so empty they let me take a private room instead which was lovely - it was great to breakfast as an option every morning and only a little extra for eggs! The family were all so helpful, getting me taxis, helping me with colectivos and advice and laundry. Highly recommend!

I’m 30 year old woman traveling alone. The staff here have been more than amazing. The hostel has such pretty views, great vibe and I have been able to meet friends here with similar interests. The staff have been so helpful to me during my stay making everything very easy, they have taken care of almost everything so I can just enjoy my vacation. They have cooked me affordable meals, set me up on amazing adventures, and provided equipment for my multi-day treks. The bed is also very comfortable

This place feels more like an hotel than a hostel. We were welcomed so warmly, our beds were made every day and there is always someone at reception you can talk to for any question. What we really appreciated is the fact that even if some days we had to start super early for some hikes (5:30am) they kindly provided breakfast for us. Really felt home here, thank you!!
