I have mixed feelings about my stay at the Lausanne Auberge. It was pretty far out of town but being close to the lake was nice. And in terms of traffic you couldn’t hear a thing. One could, however hear plenty of other things. Super loud kids playing games well after quiet time at 10pm, kids/teens/young adults were very loud well into the small hours on 2 of the 5 nights I stayed there. It seemed like a bit of a free for all at times but not ideal when I had to be up and out by 7am for a course

Fantastic place to stay. The rooms were clean, the reception staff were friendly and its really close to public transport! (The cleaning staff were a bit scary though, the supervisor kept yelling at the other girls and it felt a bit like they were watching you every time you use the kitchen). But other than that it was great. Would definitely reccomend!
