I stayed at the deluxe single private room for 4 nights and just loved it. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. At the reception, Mauricio was really helpful to decide what to do and where to go. I felt very welcomed. And the breakfast was too good to be free. It was definitely better value for money.

Not a great place to stay. Most rooms facing the road so you will hear everything. They forget to open the kitchen some mornings which is annoying if you want to make breakfast or get something from the fridge at a reasonable hour. There was an empty soap dispenser in the bathroom but they said they don't offer soap so I had to buy a some from the market. There were other hiccups but overall it doesn't feel like they take pride in making this place feel welcoming

The room is nice. The showers are hot. The location isn't bad. My problem with this place is mainly with the staff. I don't know if they are just socially awkward or rude, but I found them difficult and frustrating to deal with. It's also not a traditional hostel. There are no real common areas and no social vibe. If you are looking to meet other travelers this isn't the place to do it. The breakfast is also overpriced. One egg, 3 pieces of toast and some fruit for an extra $12 when booking.
