Hemu house is a great place to stay on a budget in Fenghuang! Veronica, our host, was wonderful and helped us plan our trip. Her husband also woke up super early to help us check out of our room which was very kind. Very conveniently located near the river right in the heart of Fenghuang. Rooms were very basic but you get what you pay for and they were still clean.

The staff was welcoming and helpful. The lady at front desk spoke fluent English, she helped with bus tickets booking and our trip planning. The room has everything you need. It’s comfortable and clean. Excellent location, from the hostel you can easily get to the river and all main attractions, just 5 mins walk to the rainbow bridge.
